Description:
Castaway Cove is a waterpark with a tropical theme, featuring rides like Parrot's Perch, a 40-foot-high tower with a double dose of open flume slides; and Shipwreck Beach, a tidal wave pool with exciting simulated waves. During the summer, the park presents weekly special concerts and other live entertainments on a performance stage overlooking Shipwreck Beach. The park lies two miles east of downtown, near Southern Hills Park, about 160 miles northwest of Dallas.
